TwitterCritic is a static website. We built it to collect as little as we can.

What we don't do

  • We don't set cookies.
  • We don't run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and we don't embed social media widgets.
  • We don't have accounts, sign-ups, newsletters or comment forms.

The micro-review builder

The builder runs entirely in your browser. What you type is never sent to us. The review card is drawn on your own device and saved straight to it when you download it.

So that a reload doesn't wipe your work, the builder keeps your last draft in your browser's local storage. That copy stays on your device, we can't read it, and the Reset button deletes it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it too.

When you press "Post on X", your browser opens X's compose page with your text in the address. From that point X's own privacy policy applies. We never see your X account and nothing is posted unless you press Post on X yourself.

What our host processes

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We don't use that data to identify or profile visitors.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you. We don't share them or add you to any list, and we delete old correspondence we no longer need.

Some guides link to outside sources such as libraries or archives. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Questions: contact@twittercritic.com.
